The Shib Daily reported that Zama CEO Rand Hindi confirmed a roadmap to integrate Fully Homomorphic Encryption across four Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens: SHIB, BONE, LEASH and TREAT. The Shiba Inu and Zama partnership dates back to 2024, and the published roadmap pointed to Q2 2026 as the target stage for implementing shielded assets.
FHE allows computation to be performed on data while it remains encrypted. In the described model, balances and transaction amounts can stay hidden from ordinary public observation while smart contracts operate on encrypted state. That is different from merely hiding information in an interface because confidentiality is provided by the cryptographic layer.
A third part of the design is selective disclosure. An authorized party, such as the data owner or another holder of the required credentials, can reveal specific information while the state remains private to everyone else. The approach aims to combine default confidentiality with audit and compliance workflows.
The article describes an active implementation roadmap rather than proof of a completed production rollout. The current takeaway is that the integration has been publicly confirmed and planned; actual availability of shielded transfers for all four tokens should be evaluated from subsequent Shibarium and Zama releases.
