Aave released V4 v0.5.11 as a developer update covering PositionManager behavior, the Hub and access-control tooling. The release includes PositionManager fixes and changes TakerPositionManager so allowance is reduced by the effective amount that actually impacts a user position rather than by a broader nominal operation amount.
The Hub becomes upgradeable in this version. For protocol infrastructure, that introduces a defined upgrade path for future Hub evolution instead of relying on a permanently fixed implementation. The release also updates the license framework and includes related license fixes.
PositionManager now emits events for on-behalf actions, improving observability for indexers, analytics systems and operational monitoring. AccessManagerEnumerable also gains role-label tracking and existence getters, making role-based access state easier to inspect and verify.
v0.5.11 remains a developer-stage V4 release, so its immediate significance is contract stabilization rather than a consumer-facing product change.
