The official Hyperliquid node repository updated its table of independent root peers for non-validator clients in a maintenance commit dated July 30. The README entry for the Kinetiq x Hyperion endpoint `15.235.232.101` in Singapore was removed.
The patch is minimal: only `README.md` changes and the diff contains a single deleted line. Node source code, peer-discovery logic, consensus behavior and network parameters are untouched. The update is therefore documentation maintenance intended to keep public connectivity information current.
Root peers act as known connection points for non-validator clients. Leaving an inactive endpoint in the official table can create unnecessary timeouts and operational confusion for users who copy the list directly into manual bootstrap procedures.
This commit precedes an August cleanup that removed two additional inactive IPs, showing a continuing effort to maintain the peer table. The practical action for operators is simply to stop relying on the old Kinetiq x Hyperion address; the change does not require any protocol migration or node-software upgrade.
