The Shib Daily reported on a Shytoshi Kusama livestream in which he described a separate proprietary AI product that he said he had spent roughly six months building. The software contains more than 100,000 lines of code and is centered on an encrypted archive for personal and family history, with privacy and anonymity presented as core properties.
The product should be distinguished from the Shibarium protocol. Kusama explicitly said its core architecture does not use blockchain or Fully Homomorphic Encryption. It is therefore not a new L2 module or a change to SHIB consensus; its connection to the ecosystem comes through the team, community and broader technical roadmap.
The initial beta is intended to be small. The article describes testing with ten selected participants and a possible user-base cap around 144,000 people. Kusama also cited an internal AI-based estimate valuing the development at roughly $2 million, but that is not an independent valuation and should be treated as a stated estimate.
In the same presentation, Kusama connected the broader Shiba Inu roadmap with technical and revenue-generating tools and mentioned using TREAT for developer grants. The AI product itself remains a separate software deployment, so its reliability and commercial model need to be assessed from beta results rather than from the announcement alone.
