Intersect published weekly update #126 covering Cardano work across the Dijkstra era, node diversity and active governance actions. Teams continue development on node software, protocol parameters and supporting infrastructure required to expose early Dijkstra functionality for testing.
On node diversity, Amaru reached its third-quarter goal of delivering a relay-node binary and is now working toward mainnet block production in the fourth quarter of 2026. A block-producing pre-release is targeted for late September, alongside continuing conformance, performance and robustness work with other node implementations.
The report also highlights the Update Constitutional Committee 2026 vote. At publication time, DRep support stood at 64.24% against a required 67%, while SPO support was 35.3% against a 51% threshold. Both thresholds had to be reached before the action expired on September 1. Falling below the minimum committee size could temporarily stall much of Cardano governance.
Intersect also reported completion of phase two of the Constitutional Amendment Portal. Its alpha workflow now covers drafting, public consultation, editorial review, versioning and handoff into an on-chain governance action. The update therefore combines progress on both Cardano’s technical roadmap and its governance infrastructure.
