TON Core v2026.06 includes several changes to networking and synchronization. Fullnodes can now be added to the fast-sync overlay, improving the path available to them during synchronization. New Plumtree broadcasts are implemented in both public and fast-sync overlays, changing how messages are distributed across those overlay networks.
For validators, the release improves synchronization through changes in the consensus protocol. The notes also describe separating the DHT server from nodes, splitting one networking service from the main node process. These changes affect infrastructure behavior and warrant normal post-upgrade checks of peer connectivity and synchronization.
The release carries Global Version 15, which restricts publishing libraries and fixes action-fine collection. It also removes legacy code and unused features, improves node logging and hardens Tonlib against crash scenarios.
Additional stability fixes and bug-bounty contributions are included. Compared with the narrower v2026.07 maintenance release, v2026.06 touches a broader set of components: fast sync, broadcasts, consensus synchronization, DHT behavior and the global version, making staged operator validation particularly important.
