TRON Wallet CLI released version 4.13.0 as a non-mandatory upgrade. The largest change is that the TypeScript CLI now separates networks into `tron` and `evm` chain families. The EVM family receives 21 command paths covering accounts, blocks, transactions, tokens, contracts and message signing. Ethereum, Sepolia, BNB Smart Chain and BSC testnet ship alongside TRON mainnet, Nile and Shasta.
A second major change moves canonical network identifiers to CAIP-2. Friendly aliases such as `tron:mainnet` remain valid input, while persisted and output identifiers use canonical namespace:reference values. Wallet CLI migrates stored `wallets.json` and `tokens.json` before executing the requested command and keeps backups of the prior state. Automation that previously keyed data by legacy network strings therefore needs compatibility checks.
The Java implementation is now limited to the interactive shell, while non-interactive, scriptable and CI usage belongs to the TypeScript CLI. The release also publishes a machine-readable error-code index through its JSON schema and consolidates chain HTTP traffic behind one transport with API-key handling and per-endpoint pacing.
For TRX this is a developer-tooling release rather than a TRON consensus change. Integrators should focus on CAIP-2 output compatibility and the new chain-family command model before upgrading production automation.
